In 5th grade, we have a unit that teaches students what was happening on this land before the colonization of America. With students who are growing up in the Pacific Northwest, there is so much history to be learned about what came before them. We need books to help facilitate our learning about the tribes that came before us, not only in the Pacific Northwest but around the country. This unit of learning will help students understand what this land was like before the colonization of our country, and what happened after once this land was inhabited by the First Settlers.

About my class
