Art is such a fun way to engage students learning. I believe that art is a powerful way to express ourselves and to use our creative minds. Art can reach many people in many different ways. I believe that using art is an incredible to allow my students to express themselves and become individuals. One of the lessons I want to teach using these art supplies are "I AM" poems. Students will be able to express qualities in themselves that they see as positive, and then creatively use art to help express themselves through different color to represent the emotions they are feeling. Another projects I will use these supplies for are their personal sketch pads. This will allow them to express themselves individually in their own personal notebook. As my student use art to express themselves, I believe that they will get to know their emotions, and who they are.
