My students currently use buckets to store all of their supplies and it is not working efficiently. They are large and bulky and it is hard for my kindergartners to see over them. It is difficult teaching young children organization but these pouches will help show my students that everything has a place and should be neat. By having these pockets, my students will feel as if they have a place in my classroom that is all their own. Being from low-income families, my students don't get as many opportunities to experience as much as a middle class family. I try to make my students feel special by individualizing resources to give them a sense of pride and belonging.
