The tables will allow my students and myself to work together to enrich our relationships with each other while allowing us to work through personal barriers that may stop students from working with other students. The tables will allow for us to work in small groups during our reading time to help students meet their goals in a smaller setting. In my classroom, we believe in we are in this together. If one of us does not feel successful then the rest of us do not feel successful until we get our friend, partner, and classmate across the “finish” line too. While we recognize our education is not a race, we value the opportunity to work collaboratively and building positive relationships in the process.

About my class
