Currently, our block play station leaves much to be desired. Blocks are big, heavy, dirty, and old. There is a core group of boys who play with these each day. However, I am convinced that if they weren't so large and unattractive, the rest of the students, especially the girls, would want to play with them, too. There is definitive research about the power of block play for primary learners. In order for all students to have an equitable opportunity to engage in this important form of collaborative play, we need to upgrade our block play station. Please help us!
