We engage in whole group learning, throughout the day, in our classroom. A designated, comfortable meeting area allows the children to feel part of our learning community. We meet for Literacy and Math on our carpet, and a central meeting area encourages class conversations that are vital for students to learn about other's perspective while learning from each other. In our classroom, we are creating a safe, loving, comfortable learning environment and a new, larger seating carpet will add, not only to comfort, but also to more engaged learning. A comfortable meeting area will enhance our supportive classroom community by bringing the students together in a shared space.

About my class
