Students are able to practice their skills and get their work out where others will see it in our Publications class. Through a student-created website, weekly bulletin for the whole school, and an annual yearbook, these 8th graders are using their journalistic writing skills. If they continue on to high school journalism, they will be prepared, but in reality, the ability to write concisely and meet deadlines will benefit them through their lives. Help us get more students published with access to computers. We can use them to digitally design the yearbook, keep the website updated with current content, and keep the school informed. We are hoping to expand our work to publishing programs for various events throughout the year as well.
