My students sit upright in their desks all day long, with the exception of sitting on the ground to work with partners or in groups. I would love to give my students different options of where they can sit to do their work in the classroom. Kids need to move! Receiving these flexible seating options, such as a bean bag, a wobble chair, and floor cushions will give students more of an incentive to get their work done and participate in learning because they will be doing it in a way that is most comfortable to them. They will make both independent and group work time more engaging and motivating.
