My project is to help students reach their potential through the arts. I would love to integrate STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) into my classroom. They will be able to build what they would like to create with hands on materials and resources. Then turn what they have built into their art project. We will be able to use building blocks, brain flakes, manipulative shapes, magnetic blocks, etc. in order to build their creations and be able to physically see them. Students will be able to pick their medium for building the creations. There are students that need to physically see what they want to create on paper or other mediums, such as clay, paint, pastels, etc. For students to have this option will open many creative doors. Not only this, but they will also enhance their problem-solving skills and decision-making skills when they must pick their building material. We will use the wireless doorbells to indicate transition times during the class period.
