The school's curriculum has a plethora of online resources for student use. However, due to a lack of classroom computers, students are unable to access these beneficial resources. The integration of Chomebooks in my classroom will allow students to be active participants in learning. The Chromebooks will be utilized everyday to cultivate curiosity in Math, Literacy, and STEM-related projects. Students will gain access to resources that will allow them to listen to books, conduct research, practice editing and publishing their writing. In Math, students will gain access to online labs and interactive manipulatives to build a strong mathematical foundation. In addition to the academic benefits of classroom computers, they are a tool to teach students holistically. A holistic education that prepares students to be responsible and engaged citizens must also include modern elements, such as digital citizenship and online responsibility. Classroom computers are essential to teach and practice these skills.
