These architectural drafting templates will be used by each student as they are hand-drafting the floor plans they design. They will place the template on the drafting paper and trace the symbols in the appropriate places (door symbols where they want doors, window symbols where they want windows, etc.). By tracing these symbols in their appropriate places, my students will learn what the correct scale of these symbols looks like on a set of architectural plans. Interior Designers and Architects use these templates as they're hand-drafting their sketch plans before they draw their ideas in a computer-aided design program. This set will be the first of 3 sets I plan to bring into my classroom for my students. Other sets will include standard kitchen & bath design symbols and furniture symbols.
