My students often need a place to take a break from learning and calm down so that they can return to learning successfully. Many of them struggle with anxiety and require regular breaks in their learning time. A Vacation Station in our classroom will give students a place to take a break without leaving the classroom. The fidgets give them an outlet for their negative feelings and help them settle down and focus on their learning again. The rug and bean bag seats provide a welcoming and colorful place for students to unwind and communicates to them that it is okay to take a break and let your brain recover from all the learning.
