In early education, it has been proven that children learn through play better than sitting at a desk doing a workbook or worksheet. If they are actively engaged and enjoying what they are doing, then the information sticks in their brains more quickly and solidly. I would like more tools to use in my classroom so that I can make learning fun and engaging for my students. We use tools and manipulates during center time where the students rotate in groups around the room to different stations. They are then to complete an activity that supports our curriculum and the standard they are to learn.
