Distractions occur anywhere, but when they are avoidable, we try our best to fix it. All the families that I have spoken to about their batteries needing to be changed tell me that their landlords will be taking care of it - fast forward 6, 7, 9 months, and they are still beeping. Not only is this distracting for our students, but it is extremely dangerous to not have working fire alarms/smoke detectors. We would love to get these families batteries so that they can put new batteries into these life-saving supplies.
