I'm a big believer that reading is the foundation to all other academics! Reading promotes achievement in all subjects. Vocabulary is critical to reading success. Comprehension improves when you know what the words mean. Words are the currency of communication. Please help me get these resources to help my students grow. As English language learners they need to be exposed to new vocabulary daily. These resources will be used in word study stations. Helping students expand their vocabulary will guarantee critical thinking, background knowledge, and reading comprehension and will result in student success in school in all academic areas. Readers become leaders!
