These materials will help make a difference by allowing my students to have more hands-on manipulatives and technology within our classroom (two tablets). The books will help us build on their beginning reading skills and what better way to start than with Dr. Seuss. Preschoolers are very busy and they learn through play and hands-on materials. The manipulatives will help build not only their math skills but their cognitive skills as well. They will begin to recognize numbers and colors more. The items will also enhance their sorting skills (color, size, shape) as well. Hands-on learning is an extraordinary way to reach the students that I teach.
