A sensory table will help my students to explore with their hands while they develop their fine motor skills. This will also encourage them to talk with each other while playing with the fun materials. As they talk, they are developing their speaking and listening skills which will help them when they get to their writing tasks. The kindergarten students are to write three sentences by the end of the school year. The more they speak in full sentences during the school day and listen to complete sentences; the more they will think in full sentences. Therefore, they will be more likely to write in full sentences.
