The heart rate monitors will provide my students with personal, real-time feedback to allow them to monitor their heart rate and exercise in PE at their appropriate fitness levels. These monitors will teach students their individual target heart rate zone and where they want to maintain their heart rate during activity. This fitness technology will give opportunities for assessment as well as personalized and individualized fitness learning on physical literacy. I believe this will be a great way to bring Physical Education to the 21st century learner and prevent future health concerns by engaging students in fitness and health now!

About my class
