Students will be able to read books at their level. They will also be able to construct and guide their own learning with the use of technology on their own terms using programs that do not have access to at home because of living in lower socioeconomic conditions. Students will be working in small groups on projects that bring their learning to life such as PowerPoints demonstrating their knowledge of fictional and expository texts. They will have access to travelling their world from their classroom via virtual field trips and reading content about the world outside of our city. They will be inspired to learn more and how to be a good citizen using digital content that contributes to their hands-on learning experiences that will have a lifetime long impact.
