We are requesting cubbies for storage. The current storage space for my students' coats are hooks that are about 4.5 feet tall. The hooks are also very close together. My students want to hang their things up, but they are balancing on their toes. Most of my students are not tall enough to reach these hooks comfortably. I am concerned about accidents and injuries. Their coats and book bags are crammed tightly. To avoid accidents, I have to hang their coats and book bags up in the morning and hand them out during dismissal. This takes up a lot of time. My students will also learn organization skills as they use the cubbies. Each section of the cubby houses two student's coats and book bags.
