The manipulatives will encourage the student to work on fine motor grasp and build strength in fun and playful way. These will be used to incorporate stem standards during small group to build math skills. The snowflakes will challenge the students to build creatively while building hand eye coordination needed for writing. The sensory path will allow them to build gross motor skills while moving. Many little learners in our class need sensory input while learning and the path will allow them to build letter and number recognition while getting the movement. Our temperature in our area also limits our outside time each day. We do not have an option of a gym to use. The sensory path will allow students to get the necessary gross motor skills within our classroom.
