My students have communication disorders ranging in severity. Many are nonverbal or have very limited verbal communication abilities. My students would benefit from walkie- talkies as a way to encourage communication and make it possible to verbalize in a fun and non-threatening way. Additionally, verbal students would benefit from various speech and language acquisition skills. The sensory play and cupcake maker will allow every student to learn life skills such as cooking, coping, and basic living skills. They will also increase and enhance their fine motor skills. What we take for granted is a wonderful achievement for my students that is celebrated every day. Help me provide the necessary tools need so my students could celebrate their everyday success even more.
