Both our Junior and Varsity Bands are preparing concert and contest music that requires the use of straight mutes. Most of our students can not afford mutes. In addition we have been unable to provide mutes for them. This project we ensure the availability of mutes for this year and future years. Having a complete set of mutes would allow us to select from are larger pool of music literature. In the past we have had to perform without mutes even though the music specifically ask for them. This has had an adverse effect on performance and performance assessment at concerts and contests.

About my class
