Many of my students are from all over the world and English is their second language. These audio books will help students to enjoy stories and encourage them to read with the recording. Building fluent reading skills is a essential skill in second grade. During our small group reading time students will use the listening station and audio books as a rotation. The students will choose a book that they want to listen to then play the CD on the listening station. Students can listen to the books and even read with the CD. They can do this as a small group or individually.
