These supplies will help us be able to split into small groups and have the students be able to work with the chemicals. This will help them experience science, not just read about it. I find that students enjoy learning more about science when they can use materials to help them learn. I have been working this year on applying learning to their own lives. Some students have never been able to make a volcano explode or see chemicals mix and change. I find that these students lack the basics of science because of low income or uneducated parents. I am excited to see what we can create together.
