These materials will be used to to teach my students about properties of matter. We will explore how matter cannot be created or destroyed but it can be changed. We will use these materials to experiment chemical and physical changes in matter. Many of my students have not had the opportunity to do hands on science but it is something very intriguing to them. I am looking forward to teaching them that Styrofoam can be shrunk but will still be Styrofoam. That substances can be combined to create something entirely new. I want my students to see that learning can be fun!
