Children of young ages are always moving! They learn best through hands on, meaningful, engaging activities that allow them to move their bodies. Sitting still..... what is that? In my classroom, I strive to create an atmosphere in which the children feel like they are in charge of their own learning. Currently our classroom seating is not very conducive in allowing children more opportunities to move and “wiggle” while learning as they need. Through the use of wobble chairs and a flexible seating rug, our students will be given the freedom and opportunity to move and explore all while being engaged through fun creative activities.
