At the beginning of the year, multiple students asked, "Mrs. Gazzier, are we going to dissect anything?" The truth is I would love for them to be able to dissect, but we just do not have the funding. Please help me get these students, college, career, and world ready. My class is a life science classroom. We learn about cells, plants vs animals, the body systems, and more. Having the students have the opportunity to see the animal’s internal body, first hand, would help them visualize the parts. To the students, seeing truly is believing. I understand buying new organisms to dissect every year would be expensive, so I am asking for help to buy plastinated frogs that have already been dissected. This would help the students not just for this year, but for years to come! My school is in the heart of Pasadena, Texas. The children at my school are living in a lower socioeconomic environment, and our school itself does not have much money either. With the odds against us, we have still managed to get 7 State Distinctions and multiple other awards. Please help me get these students, college, career, and world ready!
