I love teaching all of my ELA standards, such as character comparisons, theme, and summarization via different novels throughout the school year. Normally, I teach two in-person classes, so they can share their novels in my classroom. This year, I am teaching one class in-person and one class of E-learners. I would like my students who are learning from home, to receive the same educational experiences as my in-person class, but I only have one class set of the novel, "Holes", by Louis Suchar. I love this novel, not only for the standards that I'm able to cover, but because our culminating task is writing a letter to the author, who has always written back to us! I really want to ensure that all of my students are able to experience this novel at home this year, and we need your help, please!
