These flexible seating materials will help my students find comfort in choosing a spot where they can work or read independently. It gives them a chance to be somewhere else besides their desk, and stretch their legs. I want them to find what works best for them when reading. I want them to be excited about reading! This will increase their focus and engagement. By giving them choices of where and how to sit, they will get more work completed and learn that reading is a skill that can be done anywhere. The cushions and stadium seats will allow them to feel pleasant and be independent. These materials will help my students find movement so they are not confined to just work at their seat all day. Giving them resources to make choices for themselves will help them develop to know what works best for them when working on their own.
