These two Samsung Galaxy Tablets will help my students improve their reading and comprehension skills. These students that are struggling come from Cuba and have less than two years in the United States. They do not speak or know the English language and never used technology before. Using technology such as the Galaxy Samsung Tablet will help these students below grade level improve their reading levels and comprehension skills. Allowing students to engage in apps like StarFall and MyOn teaches students basic English, Reading and Writing skills that can assist students advance in their academic skills. The apps will help target students who have difficulties in reading by engaging them in educational content. Starfall and MyOn uses animation and sound to engage these students that come from Cuba and in the process of learning they also are learning technology and boosting their confidence in reading. Please help me give the opportunity to many of my students who have never used technology by enhancing their English language and reading skills through technology.
