By practicing repeatedly, my students will be able to read aloud with purpose using the plays. They will become fluent readers. Practicing reading aloud and repeated readings are some of the best ways to increase reading ability. My students love to read aloud, and this will help build their confidence as they work toward becoming independent readers. This project will enable us to share our experiences with the printed word to an audience. I can't wait to see their reading fluency and reading levels soar as we practice and perform these plays for our school, our parents, and our community.
