This switch activated spinner will allow special education students to access social and academic activities with peers. One example of use in the classroom is allowing non-verbal students to call on friends during circle time. A second way the spinner could be used in to increase participation during board games. The switch activated spinner allows the special education teacher to provide a variety of opportunities to engage verbal and non-verbal students in a fun and interactive way. This is also a wonderful way to increase participation in the general education setting.
