The materials will be used to make an accordion book with examples of circuits made from the copper tape, batteries, and chibi chip to program the light and this book will be used as a reference for projects we will be creating. Technology is everywhere and in most parts of our culture, so the students need experiences of coding in their school journey and everyday of their life. With these materials the students will be engineers and coders. The students will use paper circuits to explore the intersection of media arts and engineering by teaming up and build interactive paper-craft models of a “future city.” The students will then program these circuits to be interactive using a reusable micro-controller in a clip form factor, designed to be moved easily between pages.
