Critical thinking skills are so important in second grade! These materials will provide critical thinking and problem-solving opportunities while students are reviewing math and literacy skills. These wrap-ups and VersaTiles will be used in small groups, with partners, and by individuals during centers. My students love solving puzzles! VersaTiles have the students answer questions while trying to build a pattern. Once finished, the students can self-check and see which questions they need to correct and which they got right! By using wrap-ups, the students are reviewing their addition and subtraction facts but have the power to self-check! We have a small set of subtraction wrap-ups, and my students beg to use them! This is a wonderful way to help my students remember their basic facts and have fun doing it!
