This resource will help my students to have clear visuals of the different skills being implemented within the world of physical education. Our school has received the " Marathon's Running Nike Grant" under my instruction this year and it will be their first time receiving this grant. The running is going to increase physical activity before and during the school day. Our school has also started a fundraiser for St.Jude's children, and within this process, our students are being educated on heart-healthy habits and nutrition. Our students could use this use of technology to research the heart and how it functions, along with why exercise is important. It would be an amazing reward to grant these students a technological resource that will make their P.E experience more enjoyable, allowing them to interact with technology which is not typically used in our school classrooms. Students would also be able to watch athletic events that they are not exposed such as the Olympics and different movement patterns that the male and females do in their skills. We can use this tool to do a comparison and contrast between body movements and equipment. The technology will also help us to find their pulses and calculate them. Our school has no technological resource within our gym due to the age of the institution. If my students were to receive this laptop, I would be able to play music during our exercises which makes the learning environment more enjoyable. Thank you for being an outstanding resource for teachers looking to enhance the learning environment for their students.
