I teach 4 reading groups each day online. It is often difficult to do book groups and discussions with chapter books on the students level, because they don't have access to the book. I don't want students to lose out on an important part of school because they are at home because of Covid-19 or other reasons. I am going to use the books and mailers to deliver books to students to read at home, and discuss in our reading group. I am excited to be able to have meaningful discussions with them about some amazing books! When teaching online it is important to grab students attention. I will use a Brain Pop Jr. Account to help get students interested in topics and present it in a second way than just my teaching. The resources it offers will be a great help in my online lessons.
