With these three iPads, my students will not have to leave the resource room to access computer based learning. IPads will also allow an alternative way of assessing my students current levels of achievement. Technology is fast becoming a way of life and access to computer based educational programs makes learning (and teaching) fun and memorable especially for students with disabilities. Students with disabilities tend to require learning that comes from "outside the box". Technology often helps bridge the gaps and meet the needs of special education students. IPads could also be beneficial for learning Social-Emotional skills that some special needs students lack.
