I am a firm believer that not all students learn the same way. Not all teachers teach the same so why should all students learn the same? I feel that by allowing alternative seating options, I can allow students to learn in a way that is conducive to their learning style. I have students who hear new information once and it is locked in. I have students that need constant reviewing and then it begins to be locked in. Students need to feel safe, wanted, and valued in order to be successful in a classroom.
