The laptops I am requesting for my students will allow them to code/program robots in a competitive manner. Currently, our laptops are obsolete and very slow(2012). Because our robotic team participates in competitions, the upgrade laptops will give them the confidence among the other teams. Our robotic program offers hands on fundamentals of engineering design. Our program allows students to: LEARN how things work with hands on activities • BUILD knowledge with technology • GROW basic engineering and design concepts • EXPLORE your imagination and creativity • PRACTICE problem-solving and teamwork • HAVE FUN with new friends The donation to this program will improve the students ability to perform their engineering/coding skills at their best in class and in competition, leading a path to a future career in technology engineering.
