Our kids would benefit from the hands-on play this piece would provide. Having the opportunity to explore nature and create while outside would be ideal. We know how important unstructured outside play is for development, and having the kitchen to help the kids with this play would allow them to continue to work on taking turns and allow those with sensory needs an opportunity to explore a different environment. Often our kids aren't allowed to play outside and get dirty, and this would provide a space for our kids to be able to do this in a safe environment where it is both ok and encouraged. Our kids love our home living area within our classroom, and this outdoor extension we know would be well-loved by them.
