My students have double duty every single day! Not only are they trying to learn to read, write, spell, and do math, they also have to learn a whole new language! My classroom is a very small space, an office without windows or technology. We have a table and chairs and a white board. (that my husband donated when he moved his office) An iPad mini would open up a whole new world to my students. It would give us access to thousands of books, pictures, videos, and illustrations. It would allow us to actually see examples of what we are learning about. We would use an iPad mini every day to access books on multiple subjects, topics, and titles to get the resources we need, so they can become successful, effective scholars and future leaders in our community. These students from around the world need the background knowledge, skills, and information that many of us take for granted. Please help these students learn, grow, and thrive!
