We have a point system that the items we get will be used for. Besides using for incentives the items we are asking for will also help stimulate the students emotions in a caring way so as to allow them to know they are not alone that someone cares what they say and want. Students are not given the fun things (they think) that other children get because their parents (as they feel) have thrown them away. Our students are usually wards of the court and can be under the impression that no one cares what happens to them. It takes a lot of things and time to convience them they count.
