Physical activity is a vital component of any classroom. My 25 6th graders love to be outside after a lesson on long division or a reading comprehension activity on ancient civilizations. However as a first year teacher I don't have any equipment for them to use during recess or during our classroom PE time. They often share a ball for soccer with the class next door. 50 kids trying to play one soccer game is quite difficult. I also have many kids who would love to do things like jump rope or play bean bag games. I would love to show my students the games I learned in school as a 6th grader. Would you help us by providing this play kit, soccer ball, and other equipment for our recess and PE time? We would appreciate it tremendously.
