As our Earth System classes transition into the digital age with the use of Google Classroom, online tools, and virtual labs, we are finding that a handful of students in each class do not have a cellular device or access at home to these tools. Our school provides Chromebook carts that teachers share, but sometimes our students might need to complete a project they could not work on at home. I often lend my teacher Chromebook for student use during class time and borrow a few more when available, but this has not met their needs entirely. My plan is to set up Chromebook stations in the classroom for these special situations so that they could be used by these students. In doing so, we would be able to provide more equitable access to Google Classroom, online education tools, and research for those that need it.
