In our classroom, we know that there is not a “one size fits all” when it comes to learning. Some children need to move while they work. Some need to stand. Some prefer to sit down and shuffle their feet. Others prefer to be on the floor. We don’t want to limit our students based on their ability to “sit still and learn”. I love watching them decide what seating option will work for them that day while they read, write or solve math problems. If we can provide them with flexible seating to make them more successful in the classroom, let’s do it!
