I am a brand new teacher and set up about 80% of my classroom using my personal funds. To get all students to fully engage with their learning, we are in need of items such as pencils, colored pencils, highlighters, a pencil sharpener, and poster paper. The poster paper and colored pencils will allow students to create anchor charts to review ELA topics that will be tested on STAAR. Also, at the end of the year, we will be reading The Outsiders, and the students need 15 extra books to make a class set of 34 books. A laminator would be used to post routines, procedures, rewards, and vocabulary words on the wall with quality paper. The fan is very much needed in my class, because we have no windows and the heat has nowhere to escape. Your donation will make a huge difference in my classroom by covering needed basic supplies and making the walls look welcoming to students as they are in my class 90 minutes each day.
