The use of Amazon Fire tablets in the classroom is endless. My students will be conducting a variety of research projects this year. To complete these projects, my students will need quick access to the internet. These tablets will be a useful tool for my students to complete the research necessary to finish their projects in a timely manner. As many of my students struggle to read and lack confidence in their ability to read aloud, I will use the tablets to support my students while still allowing them to work with the rest of their peers. With the use of modern technology, there are many audible programs available to students who need additional reading and writing support. I will use the tablets to have books and classroom assignments audible for students who need additional accommodations. To keep my students engaged and allow them to share their knowledge in a variety of ways, I strive to add a selection of projects that may connect with specific students and their learning needs. I would like to use the donated tablets to allow my students to create video projects and audio recordings of their newly invented items (writing assignment) or interpretation of a text. I understand not all students are able to express their knowledge in the same way. The use of tablets will allow me the opportunity to check for understanding of concepts in a variety of ways.
