We love to let the students work with various materials to design, build and create. These hands-on learning materials like markers, sticks, cotton balls, thread, etc. will inspire students to use their imagination as they use science, technology, engineering, art and math to make their ideas come to life. We will be using these items in the classroom projects, our MAKERSPACE area and for centers. The students pick a project and make it come to life. Our K5 students may make a shape out of toothpicks and marshmallows. Our 5th grade students may make a boat out of aluminum foil and see how much weight it will hold. These items are recycled as much as possible so we can keep our 2 STEAM labs well-supplied.
