My students all learn in a variety of ways and are at varying levels; these items will help them all progress at their own pace. My classroom was bare when I started here (literally) and my students deserve to have interesting materials from which to learn. My students require interesting ways to learn and these items will help them work on their skills in fun ways. Many students need hands-on approaches and learn best through play. These items will help ensure my students are engaged and are learning. Because I teach Life Skills, I'm helping my students work on reading, writing, math, social and emotional skills, adaptive skills, and I help reinforce fine and gross motor skills as well as support communication skills. We need a variety of materials from which we can draw.
